The Challenge
Following an internal restructure and business alignment initiative, this UK-based services provider needed to consolidate two separate productivity environments by migrating from Google Workspace (GWS) to Microsoft 365. The objective was to unify systems, enhance collaboration, and ensure minimal disruption for approximately 170 users.

The Solution
Kuiper Technology worked closely with the customer to assess technical requirements and plan a phased, zero-disruption migration leveraging industry-standard tooling and best practice.
The approach included:
- Pre-Migration Discovery: Full audit of users, data volumes, dependencies, and critical workflows across the existing GWS estate
- Staged Migration with CloudM: Email, calendar, and document data were migrated using a hybrid sync model, with legacy data moved during business hours and final delta syncs completed out of hours
- Go-Live Cutover: Transitioned primary email routing, removed old forwarding rules, and implemented Microsoft 365 backup protocols to secure new workloads
- Dedicated Project Support: Kuiper’s technical team remained on hand throughout to proactively manage change and support users
