Customer Update: Ingram Micro Cyber Incident

At Kuiper, we’re committed to keeping our customers informed and protected. We want to make you aware of a recent cyber incident involving one of our key distribution partners, Ingram Micro.
Ingram Micro has confirmed that ransomware was detected on certain internal systems. As a precaution, they took parts of their IT environment offline while launching an investigation, supported by leading cybersecurity experts. Law enforcement has also been notified.
Importantly, we’ve been reassured by Ingram Micro that no customer data has been compromised, and this incident does not affect any Microsoft customer data or services. The issue is limited to their internal IT systems and does not impact the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, which remains fully secure and operational.
Ingram Micro has temporarily disabled access to their online portal used for placing orders, but their teams remain operational and are continuing to process Microsoft licensing orders and changes manually via their sales and support teams.
At Kuiper, we’re continuing to work closely with Ingram Micro and are monitoring the situation carefully. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, please rest assured that your Microsoft cloud environments, data, and services remain fully secure. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is here to help.
Thank you for your continued trust in Kuiper.
