Upgrade to the New 8x8 Video Meetings today!

In case you haven’t heard, 8x8 Video Meetings is here. Schedule, host and manage video conferences right from Virtual Office or a Web browser. Watch a brief overview video to learn how it can improve your organization’s collaboration effectiveness. 

We believe the new Video Meetings will enhance the value of the 8x8 solutions you already use and love. So, for a limited time, we are making it available for free.

X Series (subscribed to X2 and higher) and Editions customers can begin deploying it today. It will be available for all other 8x8 customers later this month.

8x8 made it really easy to deploy and have created a short one-page instruction sheet and a more comprehensive migration guide with screenshots and more details. It just takes a few steps.

Step 1: Make sure your users have upgraded to Virtual Office Desktop 6.3 or higher and Virtual Office Mobile 8.0 or higher. Use the links below to get these versions.

Step 2: Open Meetings via the Configuration Manager or click here: http://vo-cm.8x8.com/meetings

Step 3: Select “New Meetings for the entire company” or just pick a few users to migrate — we recommend starting with a few users for testing purposes. You can come back to deploy it for all employees at another time. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your test users.

Step 4: Enter a unique, but memorable identifier like your company name to show your company in the meeting URL - for example, acme-company in the following meeting URL: https://8x8.vc/acme-company/sally.smith

Step 5: Upon restarting Virtual Office, your users will now see 8x8 Video Meetings in the video tab.
